SINCE 2017
The inspiration to develop Black Authors Rock started with Founder, Dr. LaTracey, in 2017. Before launching Black Authors Rock, Dr. LaTracey owned a publishing house for over six years that produced sixty-five published authors. After successfully helping aspiring writers become published authors,Dr. LaTracey discovered there was more to offer in her gifts.Being a Black Multi- Best Selling Author herself, she recognized a lack of support in the industry for authors to earn income from their book projects. Her goal is to provide a safe place for black authors to be GREAT, grow, create freely, and gain there sources, exposure, and support necessary to succeed in business.
Mission
The Mission to strive—with all that is within us as Melanated People—to equip, to empower, and to edify Black authors. To illuminate those who aspire to inspire OUR community, to influence OUR people, and to make a global impact, which uplifts each of “US” in every way.
Vision
The Vision that Black authors will continue to grow will continue to be great, to continue to be free to be creative, and would continue to gain the resources and support needed to expand in business and in life—enabling them to continue to be the voice to and the voice of our people.
Pillars
Equipping our Black men and women with all the products and services they need to write, publish, market, and promote their own books and the brands of businesses that come from the likes of us.
Empowering our Black men and women to excel in their craft by providing professional development, mentorship, coaching, and opportunities to take their books, brands, and lifestyles to the next level.
Edifying our Black writers of the present and future to become the masterpieces and world-changers they are created to be. Assuring them of how deserving they are of being recognized for the entire world to see while never losing sight of the great Black writers of our past.
What We Do
We are a training center for all things publishing, promotions and profit. Our focus is helping aspiring authors as well as published authors understand the principles of the publishing industry. We are equally committed to ensuring that you are educated with the knowledge necessary to build your brand and create a consistent revenue.
Why We Do It
Nearly 5% of published authors are people of color. Color includes all other races besides caucaisian. We are here to do our part in increasing those numbers.
We are committed to ensuring that black men, women, and children writers have the tools they will need to start and advance their businesses as profitable published authors in the most unorthodox ways that they can.
We are also intentional about equipping writers with insight, opportunities, and practical tools to ensure that their businesses are thriving.

In other words, black aspiring writers as well as published authors are free to take the courses in the area of being a speaker, writer and/or publisher.
We have done this because we believe in giving writers a head starts or boost for their success, and we believe many black writers could benefit from being equipped with the basics and foundational knowledge of publishing and profitable business practices.

Virtual Trainings
One of the primary ways that you will be equipped is in our bi-weekly live virtual training. These trainings are designed to equip you as a speaker, writer and/or authorpreneur. The training is primarily focused on mindset, money and manifestation principles of publishing for the black author.
You will gain immediate access to the training sessions upon enrollment.
We believe that the community will provide the insight, knowledge, strategy, and success as a black aspired writer or published author.
Private Community for paid members in addition to the free community
One of the key components of the Black Authors Rock is the strong focus on peer expert based community.
We have been very intentional about our black writing community into the culture of our offerings. We celebrate our own and are grateful for those that support our literary efforts.
Our objective is to create an environment where you can meet and support others, network, and create success together.
Monthly Courses
We are excited about the monthly courses that will be made available to all of our members. These courses will be released every 2nd Tuesday of the month.
We have growth tracks for black aspiring writers as well as published authors. Our coursework is catered to each one of those relationship statuses, and the actionable items (homework, action steps) are specific to each status.
Monthly Webinars
We are very much excited about our live virtual webinars. Much different than our bi-weekly training, these 2-hour webinars are intensives on particular subject matters. We will tackle a wide array of subjects, from communication to professional branding.
These live webinars are valued at anywhere between $497-$1200, but they are included in your membership at no extra charge. There is no extra enrollment or registration for these live webinars. It is available to all of our members.
